I started following when I found your article about Mayhem and her paper dresses. I read all your blog posts in about two days. Still childless, still a fan of Mazzy and Harlow, still very much here for your writing and your views!
I started following you sometime between Mazzy and Harlow but I can't remember exactly when. You weren't pregnant with Harlow yet. I don't even remember how I found you, but I'm sure glad I did! I have a 13 year old son and a 9 1/2 year old daughter. I have loved when you have written about Mazzy's new stages over the years because it gives me a glimpse of what is right around the corner.
I started reading when the girls were maybe 2 and 5, not sure how I found you but always loved the New York City and Jewishness because my dad is Jewish from NYC and I spent a lot of time there with him as a teen. I grew up with my not Jewish mom in Ohio. My kids are 20 and 18 :)
Started following you via Insta-Two-Year-Old, so I guess when Harlow was 2!! I'm in the thick of it with my (second) 2 year old now & wish that hilarious account was still around all the time XD
If I'm remembering right, I believe Rants from Mommyland (who I followed with everything I had!) recommended one of your articles, and I never stopped!! My oldest will be 16 in January, my second is almost 12 (Jan 9) and my youngest is 6 - all girls!
I've got 2 girls, 14 and 10, and I think I started following you when my second was born (so a decade?!?) I love that your girls are just a little older, so I get a glimpse into my near future.
Instagram tells me I started following in May 2018. I definitely got linked to it from Fashion By Mayhem, but I’m not sure why she mentioned you. I do see that was the year of the infamous art exhibit and I definitely remember that 🤣 At that time I had been married for one year and just moved into our house. Now we have an almost 4 year old and a 1 year old so I have loved reading through your old blog posts and getting a preview of what’s to come with my kids. Most days I only go on instagram to check your posts and then leave 🙈
I started following you in 2013! So I think the girls were almost 4 and 1? The crazy part is now I have two kids of my own that are 4 and 1!! I started following you because I did PR and you were on one of our blogger lists. Out of hundreds on the list you were the only one I followed because I loved your content even though I was only 25 and no where near having kids of my own.
I think around the time I started following you, I was reading a lot of different Mommy blogs (no kids then, until now) and I encountered yours from a list of blogs to follow. But after reading a lot of people's comments, I'm a bit confused of how that really happened. Because I remember that your account was suggested to me on Snapchat, back when I first had it and for some reason, I have a lot of memory watching your family trip to Copenhagen and watching The Mommy Show. Then there's another memory of me seeing Harlow in Humans of NYC in her Anna Wintour Halloween costume. Back then (until now), when I find an interesting blog/content creator, I tend to go down into a rabbit hole and take in all the content out there. I was in my mid-twenties then figuring out my adult identity. I believe that the reason I kept following you (from Snapchat to IG to Substack) is because I realised how much I admire you as a parent and content creator, I really love how you have managed to evolve your content and allow your kids to have a voice on what you put out and respecting that. If one day, I get to have my own child, I feel like I have a guide on how to navigate the internet as a parent because of you. 🧡
I am a childless follower, so I don’t have a mother’s perspective, but to answer you question about remembering details without a blog to rely on: my mom just remembers 🤔(she is definitely not technologically proficient enough to keep a blog lol). Maybe it’s because I’m an only child? She calls me every year on my birthday at my time of birth (which has gotten confusing now that we live in different time zones 😂).
I am so grateful for the privilege to follow along with your motherhood journey—it is truly interesting and entertaining—and I have been following since the beginning!

I started following when Mazzy was just a baby!!! I can't believe she is 15 now!

I feel like it was during insta 2 year old maybe? It's been a long time! My girls are 13&10

Gosh. Hard to remember! I think it was back in 2015, when I was pregnant with my second. My girls are 11 and 8

I started following you when Harlow was 3 or 4. She is about 6 months older than my kiddo and I loved reading about your mommy life!

I started following when Harlow was 2. I had just gotten married and before kids. Now I have 2 kids and am leaving the baby era of parenthood!
It’s been a joy watching the girls grow up and you & Mike grow as parents!
I started following when Harlow was 2 I think. I have two boys, one is 10 and the other is 5.
