I started following when I found your article about Mayhem and her paper dresses. I read all your blog posts in about two days. Still childless, still a fan of Mazzy and Harlow, still very much here for your writing and your views!

I am not sure when exactly I started following. My granddaughter turned 16 in August and I was taking care of her quite a bit in those first few years. I was a retired Mother/Baby/Peds nurse so baby care was comfortable for me. What wasn't the same was all that had changed in Baby Gear, sleep training etc since I was raising my own girls in the 80s. Some how I came across Mommy Blogs and the Baby Guy NYC and I felt at home...I also started by own blog mainly for grandmas. Then I went to MOM 2.0 and I met many of the mom bloggers that I was following. I brought my granddaughter along with me as my PR person, she was thrilled running around all the displays.

I met you, Ilana, at MOM 2.0 when you were there promoting your book which I loved. I know I was following you at that time along with Jessica S and other NY moms even though I was a transplant to Chicago...I still related to my native NYer background and felt very connected to the info you all were sharing. You helped me understand what my daughter was facing raising a child 29 years after I was raising her. A lot had changed but the love was the same. I am still enjoying all the milestones that you share and am grateful for your outstanding ability to keep it all so real.

I loved reading your Birth Story...I can relate from my Labor and Delivery work and my own personal experiences. I am sorry you had to labor in the waiting room, epidurals are a gift. Even with my own experiences... I did not know when I was actually in real labor until my second baby was born....Mazzy and Harlow are so beautiful to watch grow up and develop into their own special persons. Thank you for sharing! xo

I started following when Harlow was 2 bc I remember insta2yearold very well. I think I was recommended your picky eaters club series on Facebook or something, probably bc I was working at an elementary school, but I was only 21 with no kids. 10 years of devoted reading later with a 5 year old of my own, I will fully admit that I have had at least two dreams where you and I had playdates with our kids 😂 MOMMY SHORTS 4EVA

I found you on Facebook circa 2015 when I was looking for parent blogs and content. My eldest was a toddler and he’s a year younger than Harlow so I also like to get a glimpse into the future of parenting big kids when I read your work. My kids are 11 and 8 now. I also enjoy your NYC, travel (especially skiing) and content creater BTS posts (loved the Frankie filming in the pet shop last week!) these days I like to follow you on Instagram but I love your Substack blog content most of all, I really enjoy your writing. Thank you!

Mazzy was around 5 when I started following! At that time I had a 5 year old and a 4 year old!

I now have kiddos who are 19, 16, 15, 14, 14, 13, 9 & 4!

Needless to say every level of your parenting advice and stories continues to come in handy for me!

I started following you sometime between Mazzy and Harlow but I can't remember exactly when. You weren't pregnant with Harlow yet. I don't even remember how I found you, but I'm sure glad I did! I have a 13 year old son and a 9 1/2 year old daughter. I have loved when you have written about Mazzy's new stages over the years because it gives me a glimpse of what is right around the corner.

I started reading when the girls were maybe 2 and 5, not sure how I found you but always loved the New York City and Jewishness because my dad is Jewish from NYC and I spent a lot of time there with him as a teen. I grew up with my not Jewish mom in Ohio. My kids are 20 and 18 :)

If I'm remembering right, I believe Rants from Mommyland (who I followed with everything I had!) recommended one of your articles, and I never stopped!! My oldest will be 16 in January, my second is almost 12 (Jan 9) and my youngest is 6 - all girls!

I've got 2 girls, 14 and 10, and I think I started following you when my second was born (so a decade?!?) I love that your girls are just a little older, so I get a glimpse into my near future.

I started following when Harlow was 2. I had just gotten married and before kids. Now I have 2 kids and am leaving the baby era of parenthood!

It’s been a joy watching the girls grow up and you & Mike grow as parents!
