I LOVE this idea and just upgraded to paid subscriber because of it!!!

I’m in! Love your content, and was thinking I’d be a paid subscriber anyway, but this sealed the deal! A TV club sounds amazing! It’s so hard to finish a binge and then just go back to existing in the world without talking about it!

I haven't started Nine Perfect Strangers yet, but I would love to see Succession S1/S2 (HBO) discussed here!

I’m watching Nine Perfect Strangers. How do I get past the half committed/dodgy Eastern European accent?

I love this idea! I have such a long list of shows I want to watch, so this might help me make some headway. I like the idea of having different options so people can join all, some, one, etc.

I am part of a book club and one of the things we do is rotate genres each month. We could do somewhat similar with what types of shoes are watched/discussed (obviously the options are a little less for TV versus books). I haven't started 9 Perfect Strangers yet, but it's on my list 😉

I'm watching Nine Perfect Strangers! Sooo good! OMG there are so many things I am currently watching, its hard to keep up lol (no wonder I have no time to read, smh). Clickbait on Netflix, The Circle (utter garbage reality show) on Netflix, American Crime Story - Impeachment just started, Only Murders in the Building... I could go on lol

It might be best to do it when a season of a show ends that way everyone can catch up no matter how they watch. Maybe if you list a few different shows, people can watch ones that pique their interest, and then they would also have different finale dates so the club could meet more often? Idk I've only had one full cup of coffee so these ideas might not be the best lol TV Club is a great idea though!

I started Nine Perfect Strangers but fell off (it reminded me of a less interesting version of the White Lotus) but you have convinced me to try again so I can be part of the club! I'm also VERY into Only Murders in the Building right now and hope that one may come next for discourse?

Hi Ilana, loved the idea. Not a really TV junkie, but I love to discuss things so much that I will probably starts to watch just so I can participate.

I am not watching nine perfect strangers, but i am willing to watch.

About the frequency of the club, maybe bi weekly or monthly, one week is not enough for me to watch.

A series that I recently watched that I think is interesting is Westworld, it's not a new series, and to tell you the truth I only watched the first two seasons and they are four, I think. But the take of the story is very interesting. To set you the plot: Westworld is a created world that imitates the west where rich people pay big buckets of money to do whatever they feel like with the residents of the world, since the residents are robots, you have a "free" pass to be as mean and cruel as you like. But the question is: is this really a free pass? Or a robot can also have a subjectivity which makes your acts truly horrible? How far can a human go when they get a free pass? And a lot of others interesting questions that the shows offers perspective for us to think about.

Anyone watched WestWorld?

I love this idea. I am currently caught up on Nine Perfect Strangers. I don't think I would watch Manifest though. I tried and really didn't like it. I am enjoying Only Murders in the Building.

I love this and will definitely be participating on the 23rd to talk about Nine Perfect Strangers. I've been watching and have so many (conflicting) feelings. As for frequency, I think once a series ends or the season ends would be the best time for the discussion because if not it can get to be too much. I haven't watched Manifest so I can't comment on that, but I think good discussions could happen around series like Sex/Life, The Morning Show and The Bold Type.

I love this idea! I'm watching Nine Perfect Strangers right now and I'm also loving Only Murders in the Building as well. I feel like I have so many shows on my "To Watch List". Haha.

I’m thrilled about this idea!!! I love tv, and I’d love an opportunity to share thoughts. I’m definitely willing to watch 9 Perfect Strangers in time. I’m really enjoying Modern Love. I have one episode left in the second season. Could we do old shows? I’m currently binging Mad About You which I watched in real time in the 90s. Both of these shows are on Prime.

Yesssss I love this idea!! I am totally in! Currently watching Nine Perfect Strangers so I’m prepared! I generally watch dramas, anything with a twist ending. The Undoing was great, just watched Clickbait on Netflix (VVV interesting), Mare of Easttown was good too.

I can watch shows pretty quickly as I WFH so I tend to have something on in the background.

I watched the first season of Manifest in real time and then stopped watching it. But I can be persuaded to start it up again.

So excited!!!

Ah! I didn’t even know 9 Perfect Strangers was a show! I finished the audio book a month or so ago - and my mind is so full of All The Things that I couldn’t tell you much about it at the moment. So, it will be great to binge the show in a week!
